The Challenge

Five leading outdoor brands, Swarovski, Sitka, Sauer, RWS & the Monocular, wanted to increase their brand exposure in current and new markets in an authentic way.

The Concept

In order to help the brands connect in a new and innovative way, Monocular wanted to create a concept that was the first of its kind. Thus #HuntingSummit2018 was born. Here hunters from all over the world were invited to join the brands for a weekend in the Croatian wilderness. The weekend was jam-packed with idea sharing, gear testing, real-time product reviews and deep discussions about a sustainable future for hunting, with the overall goal of promoting sustainable hunting through collaboration. The brands and their target audience could build lasting relationships, while discussing the future of hunting and online media's role in this. Additionally, #huntingsummit2018 would also authentically increase brand exposure in current and new markets as attendees shared their experiences via social media.

The Results

Videos, images and blog posts about the event were shared on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other online media, in total reaching more than 2.9 million people and an estimated media value of €395k.
